Legal Audit

L

Besides the usual legal opinions we also provide legal opinions in complex cases when either a new structure or product has to be examined or a second opinion is needed in addition to the opinion of the regular counsel of the company.

Our firm composes legal opinions in various legal matters, however, in general cases the aim of our opinion is to analyse certain legal regulations, enforceability matters or the possible interpretation of legal provisions in cross-border transactions.

In financial transactions, legal opinions are required to satisfy certain conditions (either to enable the transaction to complete or to support a particular credit rating) and will usually be required by the lenders as a supporting material.

We always conduct in-depth research in order to provide our clients with a precise analysis. This is of utmost important as the addressee of our legal opinion usually expects to rely on the accuracy of the opinion for the purposes of evaluating the legal risks of the transaction or project.

The legal opinions always specify the assumptions on which they is made. These will vary depending on the circumstances and the nature of the opinion, however, typical assumptions would include reference to the existence of certain facts, the capacities and powers, the completeness and accuracy of the information furnished etc.
