About us
ABT Legal was founded by two law firms: Lovrecz, Mangoff & Temesi Law Firm and Czifra & Neményi Law Firm. The attorneys of ABT Legal have compelling experience in legal counselling and cooperation that enables us to provide balanced and valuable assistance to our clients.
ABT Legal was established in 2019 to expand the legal team and also to enable the provision of complex services to our clients in cooperation with the ABT Group.

Czifra & Neményi Law Firm Since the establishment of our firm in 2003, we have been providing legal services to international clients. Our cooperation with the ABT Group since 2005 has enabled our firm to expand our international clientele and to provide coherent assistance together with financial and business advisors. |

We work closely with the tax, accounting, information technology and other experts of the ABT Group and also with other professionals. We cooperate with several international law firms, are members of ICLA (International Commercial Legal Alliance) and are also the Hungarian partner of a leading US law firm. The cooperation of our attorneys with KPMG and the ABT Group for more than a decade has enabled our lawyers to gain extensive knowledge in various sectors from corporate and tax structuring to major real estate developments.
We have extensive litigation experience in trial, appellate and arbitration matters spanning virtually every area of substantive law. We also have significant expertise in financial and tax matters.

Meet the team
Éva Lovrecz LL.M.
Corporate, M&A, Restructuring, Financial Law, Whistleblowing, Compliance
Éva holds a Juris Doctorate from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, and a master’s degree from Queen Mary & Westfield College, London.
Éva has led the legal team in a number of M&A projects and legal due diligence reviews. Due to her previous banking career, she also advises on financial law matters. She has represented international and domestic clients, large and small companies, as well as private investors. She also advises our clients on the design and operation of internal whistleblowing systems and on compliance matters.
Éva served as a member of the presidium of the Budapest Bar Association for four years, and she is currently a member of the Budapest Bar Association – Budapest Company Registry Court cooperation team.
Péter Mangoff
Commercial, Competition, Financial Law, Restructuring, Energy
Péter graduated from the Faculty of Law of József Attila University, Szeged, and later obtained a degree in economics, specialising in finance and corporate finance, from Budapest Business School, Faculty of Finance and Accounting.
Péter is an expert in corporate and group-level restructurings and M&A transactions, and has extensive experience in civil law, financial law and energy law matters. In addition, he has provided effective support to both Hungarian and foreign clients in numerous cross-border mergers, and assists our clients in commercial and competition law matters with in-depth knowledge and extensive practical experience.
Zoltán Temesi LL.M.
Legal Due Diligence, Compliance, Data Protection, Labour Law, Real Estate
Zoltán earned his law degree (Juris Doctorate) from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, followed by a master’s degree in European law from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and later obtained a postgraduate degree as a data protection law specialist.
Zoltán advises numerous Hungarian and foreign clients on labour law matters, including collective redundancies, and for several years he lectured on labour law at KPMG Academy. In the field of data protection, he conducts data processing compliance audits and prepares our clients for GDPR compliance. As lead auditor for TAMCert, he leads Europrivacy certifications at international level. In the area of compliance, he carries out compliance reviews and drafts internal policies. He has also participated in numerous international M&A projects and legal due diligence reviews, and has considerable experience in property operation and management matters.
Csaba Komlósi
Corporate, Enforcement, Commercial Law, Copyright, Trademarks, Litigation
Csaba obtained his law degree (Juris Doctorate) from the Faculty of Law of József Attila University, Szeged, and has been a member of the Budapest Bar Association since 2007.
Csaba’s main area of practice is corporate law. In addition, he has extensive experience in industrial property, copyright and trademark matters, has participated in numerous legal due diligence reviews, and has gained significant experience in tax litigation. He also represents our clients in enforcement proceedings.
Péter Czifra
Corporate, Labour, Data Protection
Péter holds a Juris Doctorate from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, and has also obtained a postgraduate qualification in data security and data protection. After graduation, he worked at international law firms, where he advised multinational companies on their Hungarian operations.
He has been working in cooperation with the ABT Group since 2005. He has extensive experience in providing legal services to companies, from day-to-day matters to strategic issues such as mergers and reorganisations. His expertise covers in particular corporate, labour and real estate law, data protection, as well as litigation and out-of-court proceedings.
Péter heads the German Desk at ABT Legal.
Balázs Pfliegler
Litigation and Non-contentious Proceedings, Consumer Protection, Administrative Proceedings, Immigration
Balázs graduated summa cum laude from the Faculty of Law of the University of Miskolc in 2012 and is also a qualified legal translator.
He began his professional career in 2014 as a trainee lawyer at Lovrecz, Mangoff & Temesi Law Firm, and has been practising as an attorney and member of the Budapest Bar Association since 2018.
He primarily assists our clients in the out-of-court resolution of complex disputes, in representation in both litigation and non-contentious proceedings, in consumer protection, immigration and administrative matters, as well as in corporate and real estate law.
